Lastly, we move on to the Periyar Tiger Reserve that is located in Kerala. Here you will find typical dense rich tropical vegetation. Besides the Royal Bengal Tigers, this national park also has a lot of elephants. The sight of these huge mammals and their young ones besides the Periyar River is truly magnificent. Apart from the wildlife at the national park, you can also enjoy boat rides on bamboo rafts on the Periyar River, wildlife walks in the sanctuary which will thrill your senses.
